Matt McMonagle stepped right in his freshman season at Cornell and saw significant action. He started every game from his sophomore year on captaining the team to the NCAA Final Four in 2007. He was a 1st team All American, Goalie of the year and Ivy League Player of the Year as a senior in 2007. Drafted in the first round of the MLL 2007 draft, he has played for the Long Island Lizards the past 3 summers. Matt has been a student of the game since he started playing lacrosse in middle school. He has been providing private goalie lessons since graduation. He earned a BA in Physics from Cornell University in 2007.
