| About Trilogy: Trilogy Foundation |
Click here to read about the Trilogy Foundation's Kickoff Clinic at Paterson Park. The clinic brought out over 200 kids to participate in the event.
Our Mission
The Trilogy Foundation seeks to maximize positive opportunities for inner city youth by providing the funding to maintain accessible lacrosse programs. These programs will not only foster the value of taking care of one's body through sport, but also the linked and necessary development of the mind and spirit through academic standards and character education.
Baltimore Youth Lacrosse League
Our goal is to raise enough money to fund the Baltimore Youth Lacrosse League (BYLL). The BYLL is a youth summer league for inner city players based around six recreation centers, which would provide children an opportunity to develop their lacrosse and life skills. Trilogy, and its partners Blax Lax Inc. and Next Level Lacrosse, will take the leading role in the training and development of coaches so players can learn the game the right way. For a BYLL Prospectus please email David Skeen at: dskeen@calvertschool.org
Baltimore Youth Lacrosse League Kickoff Clinic and Raffle
The Trilogy Foundation will be providing a springboard for the BYLL by hosting a clinic for Baltimore City's Youth players at Patterson Park on March 24, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. We believe this will catalyze Baltimore City's youth to continue to play lacrosse in the summer through the Baltimore Youth Lacrosse League.
This clinic will serve three purposes. First, it will engage these young players in lacrosse through a positive environment, allowing them to feel empowered to play the game. Second, it will serve to raise awareness for the formation of the Baltimore Youth Lacrosse Clinic and generate positive media attention. Third, there will be two raffles to further excite the players and the community at large. The first raffle will be for the players, who have a chance to win prizes such as camp scholarships, lacrosse equipment, and gift certificates. The second raffle will be for the community at large who will buy tickets for a raffle that will include such grand prizes as a trip to Colorado. Tickets are $50 and the complete list of prizes is below. The proceeds from the ticket sales will directly benefit the Baltimore Youth Lacrosse League.
