Summary

Trilogy Lacrosse is holding a nationwide search to fill the position of National Select Team Director. In the last five years, we have grown from three Select Teams in two regions to fifteen in four distinct areas. This upcoming Summer, our Youth and High School teams will compete at the most competitive Tournaments in the country and we will place our third recruiting class in the 2010 Fall.

In order to move forward in a successful manner, we are hiring a highly qualified candidate that will directly manage this branch of the company. This person will join our Executive team and work full-time in our New York Office based out of DUMBO Brooklyn.

Start Date: June 2010; relocation to NY by Aug 2010

Job Description

Title: Trilogy Lacrosse National Select Team Director

Professional Details:

• Full-time position
• Report to Trilogy Lacrosse Brooklyn Office
• Approximately 20% Domestic Travel associated with Job
• Accommodates professional lacrosse playing career

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage Tryouts, Invitations, and Rosters
• Identify, Hire, and Manage Coaching Staff
• Create Training Camp, Practice, and Tournament Schedules
• Manage Meetings and create informational Packets
• Approve Uniforms and Custom Gear
• Manage Regional Directors and send Personal Evaluations
• Direct additional Trilogy Lacrosse Instructional Events

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 years lacrosse coaching experience: Summer Camps, Clinics; Youth, Middle School, High School, College and/or Summer Select Teams
• NCAA Collegiate Playing and/or Coaching Experience

• Expert knowledge of the sport on micro and macro levels
• Strong demonstration of Leadership mentality
• Confident in ability to assess lacrosse talent, athleticism, and mental understanding
• Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
